Call for Papers

Dear doctoral students in the field of humanities and social sciences,
you are kindly invited to submit your original research articles, theoretical articles, book reports and conference reports for Platforma 6: Journal of Students of Postgraduate School ZRC SAZU. As a publication, Platforma is currently in the process of changing from a collection of papers into a journal. Its aim, however, remains the same: to provide a platform where doctoral students can present their past and current research work. Contributing authors are not limited to the same field of study or a predefined set of research topics. On the contrary, Platforma connects contributions from multiple subject fields, addressing a diverse range of research questions. By focusing on interdisciplinary
contributions, it builds a bridge between different research traditions, providing an insight into the interwoven web of historical experiences, social practices and cultural interpretations. Platforma cultivates and supports critical thinking, comparative reading and discussions of the past, present and future of the world as it stands today. If you would like to contribute to Platforma 6, please let us know until 29 June 2026 by sending an e-mail to platforma.revija (@) gmail.com with the following information:
- name and last name,
- title of your institution,
- study program,
- the working title of your submission and an extended abstract (500–750 words).
The journal accepts submissions in Slovenian and English.

The publication also warmly welcomes submissions by former doctoral students, who have completed their doctoral degrees in the past two years, as well as doctoral students from other postgraduate institutions.
The submissions will be subject to blind peer review before acceptance. The publication will be published by Založba ZRC.
The final deadline for submissions is 19 September 2026.
