We are pleased to announce that the Postgraduate School ZRC SAZU will take part in co-organising an international scientific conference next spring, and we warmly invite you to join us. The conference, titled “Landscape in Education and Education in the Landscape,” will take place on 22–23 May 2026 as part of the 9th Šime and Ante Starčević Days in Gospić.
The conference is organised by the Department of Teacher Education Studies in Gospić, University of Zadar, in cooperation with the Institute of Cultural History of the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Postgraduate School ZRC SAZU, and the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula.
The working sessions will be held on 22 May 2026 at the Department of Teacher Education Studies in Gospić, while the second day, 23 May 2026, will include an excursion to the surrounding area.
The conference will explore the concept of landscape as an interdisciplinary theme in the arts, sciences, education, and everyday life. We warmly invite researchers, teachers, and students to contribute to the discussion with their insights and presentations.
The official languages of the conference are Croatian and English. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance, and selected contributions will be eligible for publication in a peer-reviewed conference volume.
