Terensko delo in raziskovalni interesi:

Leta 1988 se je zaposlila na Inštitutu za raziskovanje krasa v Postojni, kjer je zaposlena še danes. Njena glavna področja delovanja so strukturna geologija in kras, aktivne tektonske strukture, tektonski mikro-premiki v kraških jamah, jamska mikro-klima, trajnostna raba jam za turizem. Sodelovala je pri številnih raziskovalnih projektih doma in v tujini. Je mentorica pri doktorskih nalogah.
